Zabavne atrakcije v Muzeju iluzij

Museum of illusions: a place where they play with your brain

A few years ago, they opened the Museum of illusions of Slovenia and a few days ago I visited it with my friends. You can find the museum in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, on a well-known square, Kongresni trg. »Enter the fascinating world of illusion which will trick your confidence in senses, but amaze you by doing it; the world that will confuse you completely, but also educate you… Visit us and you will be thrilled because nothing is what it seems, especially not in the Museum of Illusions!« they write on their web page and indeed, there are a few interesting things in the Museum of illusions, but it’s also true that you will see a few things there you have probably seen before.

An important part of the Museum of illusion in Ljubljana are various photo and optical illusions, which you have probably already seen on the internet. You will also find a few holograms and stereograms, an interesting »True Mirror« as they call it, in which you will see yourself from all the sides and a few other attractions. But all that is nothing special. However, I would say that the Museum of illusions is still worth a visit, especially because of some very interesting, creative and fun ideas and attractions.

Interesting attractions in the Museum of illusions

If the exhibit that I described above are not that interesting to you, there are a few attractions which will definitely be memorable.

An interesting Infinity Disco room which brings the feeling of a crazy, interesting disco party in a full discotheque. If you visit an Infinity Disco room with a few of your friends, the feeling is even more real. But the most interesting part of the museum, at least for me, is the Vortex tunnel, which is a perfect illusion. Even though the floor on which you walk is completely stable, you have a feeling that you are walking down a loose bridge over a river.

Is it worth it to visit the Museum of illusions? I would say yes, but don’t expect too much.
